A community-based network organisation that links people interested in city farming and community gardening across Australia. It conducts an annual 'survey of gardens'.
Garden Clubs of Australia
A not-for-profit umbrella group established to provide encouragement and support for over 750 autonomous garden clubs and societies throughout Australia. It organises a biannual Convention, and publishes the magazine 'Our Gardens'.
The Diggers Club
The Diggers Club is owned by The Diggers Foundation, a registered not-for-profit charity. It has been helping home gardeners to succeed for over 40 years with a range of heirloom seeds, plants, bulbs, and trees; and through the seasonal publication of Diggers Garden magazines.
Young Farmers Connect
A national not for profit organisation committed to cultivating networks, resources and community for young farmers to farm for the future. It supports the use of regenerative, holistic and sustainable agricultural practices.
Organic Gardener
The ABC’s Organic Gardener magazine provides inspiration, information and practical how-to advice and solutions on all aspects of organic gardening and a holistic lifestyle. It is published eight times a year.
Soil Land Food
Provides capacity building, training, consulting and extension for farmers, graziers and rural communities. Topics include soils, regenerative and organic farming systems, composting, rural landscapes, food systems, and rural change. Extension work includes workshops, forums, courses, videography, digital and peer to peer projects.
ShareWaste
A free volunteer-run global initiative and an app that provides a means to connect people who wish to recycle their kitchen scraps with their neighbours who are already composting, worm-farming or keeping chickens. It means that people can divert waste from landfill while getting to know their neighbours.
